TAIPEI, Taiwan (November 2, 2020)–Over a hundred books were collected in a book drive as leading global outsourcing provider, TaskUs, celebrated the third anniversary of its Taiwan site, Adventures Intelligence.
The book drive was a symbolic activity as part of the company’s week-long celebration aptly entitled, Open the Next Chapter, recognizing teammates’ hard work and contributions, and preparing them for the future.

“At TaskUs, we give much importance to pursuing one’s passions and dreams. Purpose beyond the office plays a big role in our culture. As we turn a new chapter in Taiwan, we hope to equally contribute to the growth of the Taiwanese community,” said Catherine Wang, TaskUs Adventures Intelligence Vice President for Operations.
Donated books will go to primary and secondary students residing in rural areas. The book drive aimed to broaden children’s horizons through the gift of reading and education.
Meanwhile, kicking off the week’s activities last October 26 were games, activities, and a feast for teammates to celebrate TaskUs’s core value of “Work Hard, Have Fun”.
Celebrity guest speakers also graced the celebration to share their views on the company’s core values and touched on topics such as self-improvement and striving for excellence. Renowned actor, TV host, and movie director Ken Lin shared how he fulfilled his goal of making a name for himself in the film industry.
Mickey Huang, an artist, musician, music producer, and writer, also talked about his journey amid difficulties and facing unexpected challenges.
Representatives from the Taoyuan Psychiatric Center gave pointers on coping with stress and caring for one’s mental health. The talk not only highlighted the importance of physical health but also of holistic wellness by striving for work-life balance.
To cap off the week-long celebration, TaskUs Adventures Intelligence held a Halloween-themed runway show and dance competition to showcase teammates’ creativity and resourcefulness.

“Open the Next Chapter is a testament to how the organization is thriving despite these challenging times. With the promise of a new chapter upon Us, Adventures Intelligence is ready to turn adversity into opportunities, and continue onwards,” said Catherine Wang, TaskUs Adventures Intelligence Vice President for Operations.
