TaskUs Bags ‘Happiest Employees’ Award and More from Comparably

Published on October 25, 2022

TaskUs (Nasdaq: TASK), recognized by the Everest Group as the World’s Fastest Growing Business Process (outsourcing) Service Provider, has won three new awards from Comparably—a platform that honors organizations for their outstanding workplace culture and compensation.

Comparably has consistently recognized TaskUs for its people-first approach to employee management, which invests heavily in well-being, personal fulfillment, and professional development. In Comparably’s third quarter Best Places to Work Awards, TaskUs was among the winners in three categories including “Happiest Employees,” “Best Company Work-Life Balance,” and “Best Company Perks & Benefits”—all of which recognized the overall satisfaction of TaskUs employees in their workplace.

“Our people’s welfare is central to what we do as a company. By taking care of our employees and supporting them achieve their goals, we create a healthier, more productive, and more collaborative work environment. This contributes to the success of each teammate, our clients, and the organization,” said Stephan Daoust, Chief Operating Officer at TaskUs.

TaskUs provides best-in-class benefits to its teammates across the globe, which include life insurance and healthcare coverage available to all employees regardless of rank and tenure. Teammates also enjoy maternity and paternity leaves, paid time off, birthday leaves, and additional breaks for their mental health needs. To support work-life balance, the company has instituted no-meeting Fridays and no-chat weekends, among other people-first initiatives of a similar nature.

The company’s people-first values and culture are also incorporated into its office design to inspire productivity, creativity, wellness, and inclusivity. TaskUs sites offer numerous amenities including gym facilities, recreational rooms, and meditation areas. For parents, the company also provides lactation rooms and daycare services in several sites to help balance work with childcare. In the Philippines, each office comes with all-gender bathrooms to help create a more welcoming environment for LGBTQIA+ employees.

TaskUs is also one of the few companies in its industry that has its own Wellness & Resiliency department that focuses specifically on its employees’ mental health needs. The team delivers several programs including individual and group coaching, psychological counseling, and psychiatric services to address stress, burnout, and anxiety among others. The team also offers these resources to household members for free.

Finally, true to its core value of “Continuous Self-improvement,” TaskUs provides programs geared toward education. These include The Academy, an upskilling and mentorship program that aims to equip teammates with the right skills to help them take the next step in their careers and become leaders. TaskUs Colombia also implemented The Art of Fluency: The TaskUs Language Academy which seeks to improve English proficiency for Caleños or locals of Cali who wish to enter the customer service and care industry (through TaskUs, should they wish). Meanwhile, employee parents in India and the Philippines also benefit from TaskUs’ NextGen Scholarship Program which helps cover the fees of their children’s education.

TaskUs also won several prestigious accolades from other award-giving bodies this year including “People-Focused CEO of the Year” (Silver) from the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, “Most Valuable Corporate Response During COVID-19” (Gold) from the International Business Awards, and “Company of the Year” (Gold) from the American Business Awards. The company was also named the World’s Fastest-growing Business Process Service Provider in the Everest Group’s Top 50 report, which noted its incredible growth due to how quickly it positioned itself during the COVID-19 pandemic.
