TaskUs is doubling down on Colombia’s Caribbean coast with the opening of “River Beat,” our vibrant new site in Barranquilla. The site will support a strategic partnership with a global next-gen satellite communications provider.
TaskUs leaders Stephan Daoust, Chief Operating Officer, Luis Barreto, DVP of Operations for Latin America, and Erwin Hernandez, VP of Operations for Barranquilla, spoke with Forbes Colombia and El Heraldo about the strategic launch.
Located on the iconic Vía 40, River Beat is a high-tech hub designed to house over 1,000 teammates. The expansion reflects TaskUs’ commitment to Colombia’s strong bilingual talent and its pivotal role in the global digital services economy.
The River Beat site is a colorful homage to the Carnival of Barranquilla. In addition to cultural aesthetics, the site prioritizes teammate wellness with paddle, tennis and soccer courts, gaming zones and comprehensive medical benefits.
Luis said, “We believe that putting the person first is directly reflected in the results.”
