Ragan’s Platinum HR Awards Honors TaskUs’ Wellness & Resiliency Team for Commitment to Employee Well-being

Published on September 27, 2022

New Braunfels, Texas (September 27, 2022) – TaskUs (Nasdaq: TASK), a provider of outsourced digital services and next-generation customer experience to fast-growing technology companies, is proud to announce that its Wellness & Resiliency (W&R) team received an honorable mention from Ragan’s Platinum HR Awards—an award-giving body spearheaded by PR giant Ragan Communications, which recognizes excellence and best practices in the field of human resources.

The citation recognized TaskUs’ commitment to employee well-being through its people-first programs, technologies, policies, and practices that empower employees and clients to reach their full potential.

The award also recognized Cirrus, TaskUs’ Work@Home platform, which was implemented in 2020 as a response to the pandemic and sudden shift to a work-from-home setup. Apart from helping clients navigate and thrive through the economic challenges presented by COVID-19, Cirrus also significantly improved employee morale, wellness, and productivity. As the pandemic set in and lockdowns followed suit, the TaskUs Wellness & Resiliency team quickly integrated its programs within Cirrus to support employee mental health and well-being.

“TaskUs has made significant investments in employee wellness. We believe that a collaborative environment and easy access to mental health resources help foster employee well-being,” said Rachel Lutz-Guevarra, TaskUs Vice President for Wellness & Resiliency. “Putting our people first and providing them holistic benefits and programs allow them to be more productive and engaged while delivering outstanding performance.”

TaskUs’ in-house Wellness & Resiliency team, solely dedicated to caring for employees' wellness, has over 100 mental health professionals, including certified life coaches, researchers, psychologists, and psychiatrists. The team offers free W&R programs made available 24/7 and psychoeducational programs that improve one’s well-being and build resilience. These resources are also extended to household members for free.

The recognition adds to the numerous accolades that TaskUs has received for its people-first culture, such as two Gold Stevies for Most Exemplary Employer and Most Valuable Corporate Response during the COVID-19 Pandemic (2022), Silver Stevie for Achievement in Workplace Health and Wellbeing (2022),  Comparably’s Best CEO for Women and Best CEO for Diversity for Bryce Maddock (2022), and Best Place to Work from Business Intelligence (2022).
