‘Game on at the Arena’: TaskUs welcomes hundreds of applicants in first onsite hiring event in new Cali office

CALI, Colombia (July 8, 2022) — TaskUs (Nasdaq: TASK), a provider of outsourced digital services and next-generation customer experience to fast-growing technology companies, held its first onsite hiring event dubbed “Game On at The Arena”. Hundreds of aspiring applicants participated in the career fair of TaskUs with the goal of being part of its Ridiculously Good team in Cali. 

Held in late June, the event was organized at TaskUs’ recently opened office The Arena at Complejo Carvajal, which is just near the Pacific Mall, Home Center, and Chipichape in Cali. Applicants got to experience first-hand TaskUs’ ridiculously refreshing culture, complete with snacks, exciting games, and raffles.

TaskUs’ screening process considers applicants who are Cali residents, at least 18 years old, and fluent in English and Spanish. An experience in business process outsourcing is not required although it would be an advantage. For applicants that would like to have English training to further improve their language skills, TaskUs created a free English academy, especially for the residents of Cali. The Art of Fluency is a learner-centered and virtual training program that will expand a student’s language proficiency, which would be helpful as they venture into a career in outsourcing. TaskUs has been operating in Cali since March 2021 on a purely Work@Home setup. It opened its new, permanent site called “The Arena” last June 2022 while ensuring a successful transition from Work@Home to on-site operations.
