CCW recognizes TaskUs for its commitment to digital customer experience and people-first culture

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (December 23, 2021) – TaskUs, a leading tech-enabled business services company delivering Digital CX, AI Operations, Consulting, and Content Security to innovative and disruptive companies, was recognized as the BPO of the Year at the recently concluded 2021 Customer Contact Week (CCW) Excellence Awards Gala in Las Vegas.

The CCW Excellence Awards honor individuals and teams who have made a commitment to driving superior contact center and customer experience (CX) performance. The BPO of the Year award is given to an organization that redefines the standard for strategic partnership evidenced through world-class service and exemplary efficiency.

The people-first culture of TaskUs empowers its teammates to help some of the world’s most notable brands navigate digital transformation and shifting demands brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In March 2020, TaskUs made a bold and swift transition to move its entire global workforce to remote work—ahead of most other companies across industries—all while maintaining full continuity of service for clients.

“Our clients’ decisions to scale their operations with Us prove that they trust our commitment and capabilities during the most vital times for their businesses,” said Jarrod Johnson, TaskUs Chief Customer Officer.

TaskUs understands that clients need a partner that is passionate, mission-driven, and able to adapt and transform in any given circumstance. As a result, the company’s Client Net Promoter Score (cNPS) went up from 71 in 2019 to 75 in 2020.

With an unparalleled commitment to investing in its own employees, delivering results, and keeping ahead of the curve, TaskUs continues to scale business operations for its extraordinary clients in extraordinary times.

“This award is a testament to our ongoing commitment to our clients and we believe that employee experience is the key to success,” Johnson said. “Investing in our own people is the key to delivering an exceptional experience for our clients, ensuring that their success is our success. We believe this differentiates Us, and will be critical for all business service companies in the years to come. Thank you to CCW for this award. To think of where we were five years ago, and to have earned this honor today, is truly humbling for all of Us.”

As a people-first company, TaskUs is focused on balancing productivity and wellness to ensure its teammates are able to produce ridiculously great outcomes. The company has its own Wellness & Resiliency team dedicated to caring for employees’ well-being. It also provides various upskilling programs and industry-leading employee benefits that support both personal and professional development. TaskUs has also cultivated a diverse and inclusive work environment that encourages teammates to express their true selves.

In the past year alone, TaskUs has been recognized by industry award giving bodies Business Intelligence, Comparably, Investors in People, Stevie’s®, and CampaignAsia’s Women Leading Change for its commitment to employee safety and well-being, diversity and inclusion, learning and development, among others.

TaskUs began with just seven employees and a one-room office in the Philippines in 2008. As of September 30, 2021, TaskUs has more than 35,600 teammates operating across 20 locations in eight different countries.
