NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (April 7, 2022) – TaskUs, Inc. (Nasdaq: TASK), a global provider of outsourced digital services and next-generation customer experience to innovative and disruptive companies, is set to open its newest location in Łódź, Poland. This is TaskUs' second service hub in Eastern Europe.
TaskUs chose Łódź, located approximately 75 miles southwest of the capital, Warsaw, for its dynamic and vibrant culture, service-based economy, and highly educated and multilingual talent pool. With the company's arrival in the city, people will have the opportunity to work on campaigns for some of the world's most innovative, fast-growing, and people-focused companies across various industries—Social Media, Retail and e-Commerce, Entertainment and Gaming, HiTech, FinTech, and HealthTech. People can also look forward to the fact that TaskUs has been consistently recognized as one of the best places to work in the world, with recognition from Glassdoor, Business Intelligence Group, Stevie Awards, Comparably, and Investors in People, among others. The company was also named “BPO of the Year” at the 2021 Customer Contact Week (CCW) Excellence Awards.
"We recognize that Łódź offers an excellent quality of life that TaskUs similarly offers to employees. At the same time, having our presence in this region and working with the local talent further strengthens the Ridiculously Good service we provide for our global clients," said Hemi Sehgal, TaskUs' Senior Vice President of Operations. "We plan to share our people-first culture with the people in Łódź, contribute to the city's economic development, and disrupt the outsourcing industry in the region."
The Łódź office is set to open in the second quarter of 2022, coinciding with the gradual return to an in-office environment after more than two years of working in a remote or hybrid setup. TaskUs teammates can look forward to enjoying state-of-the-art facilities and amenities that TaskUs has been globally known for.
TaskUs' entry to Łódź will also support the local government in revitalizing the city's economy. The city, known for its strong industrial roots and once a center for the textile industry, is now making its name as a booming technology and lifestyle hub.
"We are very excited to welcome TaskUs to Łódź. With their commitment to being a people-first organization, we are looking forward to all the wonderful opportunities that our talented and skilled locals will be able to explore with them," said Adam Pustelnik, Deputy Mayor of the City of Łódź.
Aside from its excellence in delivering outsourced digital services in Digital Customer Experience, Trust & Safety, Consulting, and AI Services, TaskUs also has a reputation for being an industry leader in providing leading employee experiences, benefits, learning, and career development opportunities, and growth programs for its employees. It has a best-in-class Wellness & Resiliency team, solely focused on caring for its employees’ overall well-being. The company also launched its global Tuition Fee and Professional Development Reimbursement Program last year, which supports employees in furthering their education and skills. It also has “The Academy,” an internal certification and mentorship program for those who plan on taking the next step in their careers. All of these and more will be made available to TaskUs teammates in Łódź.
Aside from Poland, TaskUs previously announced that it will also open an office in Romania this year.
