NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (November 20, 2021) —TaskUs is proud to announce that Rachel Lutz Guevara, VP of Global Wellness & Resiliency, was selected as an honoree in Ragan’s Top Women in Wellness and HR Awards in the Mental Health Leader category.

Ragan’s Top Women in Wellness and HR Awards recognize leaders who are champions of the employee, who strive for improvement in employee health, performance management, diversity and inclusion, talent recruitment and retention, human resources information systems, as well as coaching and corporate leadership.

An invaluable asset to the Wellness and Resiliency team at TaskUs, Lutz Guevara continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to improving employee health and wellbeing. She believes investing in people is paramount to company success, describing foundational factors of a truly effective wellness program as one that is employee-centered, inclusive, collaborative, as well as transformative.

“TaskUs’s employee-centric culture directly defines our team’s approach to workplace wellness. This recognition is a testament to our collaborative work in ensuring that all TaskUs teammates are receiving adequate care and support,” she said. “During the pandemic, protecting employee health—both physical and mental—re-emerged as a top priority for our team. We continue to rise up to the challenge, making persistent efforts to cultivate a safe, fulfilling work environment for our employees at all levels.”

As a people-powered organization, TaskUs strives to advocate for all of its teammates by providing 24/7 access to virtual mental health consultations and sessions. TaskUs also covers the cost for COVID-19 testing and vaccines for employees based in regions where treatments are not free, and allows at least two full weeks of paid time-off so those who do test positive can have peace of mind as they fully recover.

In 2020, TaskUs introduced a new cloud-based remote work platform, delivered 700 hours of digital wellness content, and launched the virtual Connect15 program, which gives every employee an opportunity to bond with new colleagues and personally meet with TaskUs executives.

Earlier this year, TaskUs was also named the best multinational enterprise to work for by Business Intelligence Group. The company was also recognized by the Comparably Awards, the Investors in People Awards, and the Stevie Awards for Great Employers Awards.

TaskUs currently has over 31,500 teammates around the world with offices across the U.S., the Philippines, India, Taiwan, Mexico, Greece, Ireland, and Colombia.

The Ragan awards competition is organized annually by Ragan Communications, a leading publisher delivering practical advice, real-world solutions, and field-tested strategies for the everyday corporate communicator.
