Full Time Employee (FTE)

Definition

A full-time employee is a term used to describe one (or more) team members whose combined work hours in a week equal the total number of hours that a business considers full time.

At TaskUs, we refer to FTEs as “teammates.” We do this because our focus is on humanizing these frontline support members, as they are the most critical element on the team. TaskUs is an employee-centric company that keeps our teammates (aka Full Time Employees) top of mind at all times.
