TaskUs Volunteers to Help Typhoon Haiyan Victims

On Friday, November 8, the Philippines was struck by a massive typhoon that destroyed a large part of the country, claiming thousands of lives. The worst of the storm missed our office in Manila, but quickly the magnitude of the storm and the destruction it caused became clear. We wanted to stand in solidarity with our Filipino family, so we announced the TaskUs Typhoon Haiyan Relief Fund, which is bringing critical aid to the millions of people affected by the deadly storm.

Our teammates in the Philippines donated to the fundraiser, but also saw the immense need for direct support from people on the ground in the Philippines. They organized, and spent their weekend packaging and preparing much-needed supplies to be sent to the communities destroyed by the typhoon. They worked hand-in-hand with CNN Hero of the Year, Efren Peaflorida, and were featured on the popular news show "Good Morning Sir
