The Silicon Beach startup has opened new locations in Texas and the Philippines, where it already had a presence, and moved into Mexico and Taiwan for the first time.

TaskUs continues to expand its back-office and customer-support outsourcing across the globe, opening five new offices in four markets.

Headquartered in Santa Monica, California, the startup has opened new locations in Texas and the Philippines, where it already had a presence, and moved into Mexico and Taiwan for the first time.

TaskUs said that the new sites offer the same stylish design and employee amenities that have earned the company an award-winning reputation for having the “ultimate millennial offices.”

The announcement comes on the heels of a $250 million investment from Blackstone that valued the company at $500 million.

“TaskUs grew more this year than any other in our 10-year history,” said CEO Bryce Maddock in a statement. “Our client base is primarily technology-driven consumer brands, and as they continue to expand their customer base globally, TaskUs is eager to expand into key markets alongside them. We have always emphasized the importance of the employee experience, and we’re excited to bring our world-class culture and top-notch customer service to more locations.”

Here are the new locations:

  • Bulacan and La Union, The Philippines: The Philippines has always been a stronghold for TaskUs, and with these two additions, which added nearly 1,000 full-time employees, the company now has eight offices there.
  • New Braunfels, Texas: TaskUs opened its first domestic site in San Antonio in 2016. The location has grown to more than 2,000 employees and is now being joined by a second location inside San Antonio and a third location in this neighboring city. The New Braunfels location already has 330 full-time employees and is in the midst of a big holiday hiring push to bring on an additional 1,000 employees for the season.
  • Taipei, Taiwan: A new market for the company, Taipei appealed to TaskUs for its abundance of educated, young talent many of whom are multilingual, including in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese and English. The office currently has 200 full-time employees.
  • Baja North, Mexico: Like Taipei, Baja North is a new market for TaskUs that offers a large pool of talent, many of whom are bilingual in English and Spanish. The office has 300 full-time employees.

With these new locations, TaskUs now has more than a dozen offices worldwide and plans to expand into Europe, India and Latin America in the next 18 months.
