Bryce and arrived in Manila on December 13, excited to be back in the Hotel that has become our 2nd home. Energized by the city, we hit the ground running; we worked weird hours of the night, which confused our bodies, combatting our jetlag. We knew the Holiday Party was a few days away, and excitement around the center grew more tangible everyday leading up to that Saturday.
We showed up at 7:50, fashionably 20 minutes later than instructed. With Manila traffic it turned out we were not the only ones, as the TaskUs team continued to flow in the Water Village banquet area until 9. We started the night with an opening skit that Bryce and I had prepared. We ate delicious traditional Filipino food, drank beer, and prepared ourselves for a night to remember.
Each team had their own song and dance number prepared, and took turns in the spotlight. It was a very difficult event to judge as each team did such a great job! Once winners were decided and awards given, everyone continued to dance the night away. It was a real pleasure for us to be there with the team, let loose and celebrate the growth of our company in 2010.
